Privacy
This page explains what hypersomnia.io stores about you, why, and how to get it removed. The site has no ads, no analytics and no third-party trackers.
What We Store
- Signing in with Steam: your Steam ID and Steam name, the time of your last login, your IP address, browser user agent and browser language. These are used to keep your account working and to fight abuse.
- Linking Discord: only your Discord user ID, so it can be tied to your Steam account. The Discord access token is revoked right after linking.
- Playing ranked matches: game servers report your nickname, account ID, the match result and your MMR. This is shown publicly on the leaderboards, the matches list and your player profile.
Cookies
We set one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is only created when you sign in, it is required for signing in to work, and it expires after 7 days without a visit. We do not use any other cookies, so there is nothing to consent to.
The arenas page remembers whether you prefer the list or the grid view in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your browser.
Removing Your Data
To have your account and its data removed, or to ask what we store about you, contact us on Discord or open an issue on GitHub.
